getting around
It is recommended to have a rental car to explore Grand Cayman, but not required. There is ample taxi service, though taxi's can be expensive, and rental cars are often quite cheap. If you do not have a car, you can dive all day and night directly in front of your condo.
for divers
Shore diving is abundant in Grand Cayman. There are four primary shore dive sites with onsite dive shops offering tanks, equipment rental, and lessons.

-
Lighthouse Point - Visit the guardian of the reef, a 20 foot tall statue of King Neptune. Known for many corals and abundant turtles. On calm days go off the dock, or go out via the Sea Pool. Rent tanks at Dive Tech onsite.
-
Macabuca - 1/2 mile north on the same wall as Lighthouse Point. Rent tanks at Sun Divers and enter in the protected pool in the middle of the Macabuca bar. This is an excellent night dive site and great for jr divers as navigation is very easy and the top of the wall shallow.
-
Eden Rock - Located in the heart of downtown Georgetown, Eden Rock is a popular shore dive site known for it's huge grotto coral formations and tarpon filled swim throughs. Another great dive site for jr divers with a max depth of about 40 feet.
-
Sunset House - Located south of Georgetown on the southwest point, this is where you will find Cayman's famous mermaid statue.

If you want to explore additional shore dive sites, you can rent tanks at Diver Supply on Seven Mile Beach and go anywhere.

Boat dives leave daily from multiple locations. Book a trip or class with Dive Tech, our on-site dive shop and tech dive specialists, or Living the Dream Divers where Gary and Liz will spoil you with service. Both offer door to door service, as well as guided shore dives and night dives.
for non-divers
You are only 1/2 mile from the world famous seven mile beach. Take a boat tour with Captain Marvin to stingray city, or catch the ferry from Camana Bay across North Sound to Rum Point or Kaibo Beach. Explore the crystal caves, take a night bio-luminescence swim, or enjoy shopping in historic Georgetown.
