getting there

A 30 minute drive from Salt Lake City Airport.  Rent a car or use one of the many shuttle services such as Canyon Transportation.

description

The home is 2000 sf in the Fairway Springs neighborhood of Frostwood Village at the Canyons.  The home has the main living area on the main floor with an attached garage and massive windows with unimpeded views for almost 60 miles.  Sunrises are amazing.  The lower floor contains a separate laundry room, and two bedrooms sharing a full bath with double sinks.  One bedroom contains a king bed and fireplace.  The second contains a twin over double bunk with trundle, sleeping up to 4 kids or a couple.  The spacious master is on the third floor and features a fireplace, walk in shower, huge tub and private balcony with incredible views.  The kitchen is well equipped with high end appliances and everything you need.  The hot tub is located outside the home on the lower floor.

getting around

Your town home sits on the complimentary Canyon Connect shuttle service.  Download the app at https://cvma.com/canyons-village-connect/.  This free door to door van service will bring you anywhere in the Canyons village area.

Take the free bus service to downtown Park City or Kimbal Junction.  The express bus runs every :15 minutes in Winter and every :30 minutes in summer.  Catch the bus at the base of the Cabriolet gondola for a 10 minute ride.  Park your car in the free packing lot by the bus stop or have the Canyon Connect drop you there.

Ski/snowboard

To access Park City Mountain, take a short walk to the base of the Frostwood Gondola located next to the Wyndham. This is an easy 5 minute walk. From the top of FrostWood, catch Red Pine Gondola or Orange Bubble to get up on the mountain.  Once on the mountain you have access to the all of Park City Mountain.  At the end of the day ski to the same location and walk back to your town home.

Alternatively have Canyon Connect drop you and your ski gear at the Canyons base area, the base of the Cabriolet.  There is also free parking at the base of the Cabriolet.

Aloha Sports in the Wyndham offers rentals, waxing, tuning, and storage, and are located a few steps from the Frostwood Gondola.

The town home includes boot driers and storage racks in the garage.

Leave Park City and explore other resorts.

  • Snowbird/Alta - 45 minute drive

  • Brighton/Solitude - 45 minute drive

  • Snowbasin (Epic pass resort) - 1:10 drive

  • Power Mountain - 1:10 drive

  • Deer Valley - 15 minute drive or catch the bus

Bike/hike

To access the network of lift serviced mountain bike trails, you can either climb from the Canyons base area, drive or take the 4 mile paved bike trail to the Park City base area.  From there catch the lift and off you go.  We recommend the TrailForks app to navigate the network of hundreds of single and double track trails.

An alternative is to catch a bike shuttle to Empire Pass above Deer Valley and access a  huge network of trails that take you through Big Cottonwood Canyons or back to Park City or the Canyons base.

Rentals bikes can be found all over park city, however we prefer Jan Sports.

Big Cottonwood Canyon and Little Cottonwood Canyon offer some of the most scenic hiking trails in Utah.  Drive up through Deer Valley over Empire Pass or take the interstate.  In less than an hour you have access to dozens of trails ranging from the easy Donut Falls, to the more challenging Red Pine Lake topping out at over 9000 feet.  When hiking, bring more water than you think you need, leave as early as you can, and assume it's longer than it is.
